The OGC Nice hosts, as part of the 15th day of Ligue 1 Conforama, the SCO d’Angers this Saturday at 8 p.m. at the Allianz Riviera.
OGC Nice (15th in the standings with 17 points) is in a difficult position before this matchday and is obliged to win at home to distance themselves from the relegation zone. In the event of another defeat, the team could end up in the play-off position, and Patrick Vieira’s future could be threatened.
On the other hand, SCO d’Angers travels to the Côte d’Azur with confidence (3rd in the standings with 24 points). Therefore, the team from Nice must be wary of the Angers team, which is having a very good start to the season with convincing victories, notably against Saint-Etienne and Bordeaux. However, this Saturday, the team will be missing several of its key players (such as Ninga, Traoré, and Aït Nouri).
For this match, Patrick Burner will be suspended after receiving a red card at the Groupama Stadium against Lyon. Patrick Vieira will also have to cope without two of his central defenders, Christophe Hérelle and Andy Pelmard, both of whom are sidelined with ankle injuries. Youcef Atal and Alexis Claude-Maurice are making their return to the group for this match.
The match can be followed from 8 p.m. on beIN SPORTS.
Please note that a clothing drive will take place at the Allianz Riviera before the match. Starting at 5 p.m., volunteers from Restos du Cœur will be at the foot of the stadium stairs to collect donations from supporters. The collected clothing will then be distributed to families in need.
