OGC Nice: The time for the restart has arrived!

It was in public, at Allianz Riviera and under a beautiful sun, that OGC Nice resumed training this Monday afternoon. There were 29 players in action in front of about 200 spectators, with only Bosetti and Traorรฉ absent, still in the recovery phase.


ogcnice_reprise.jpg Six weeks after securing 17th place in Ligue 1, Claude Puel’s men resumed training, relocated for the occasion to Allianz Riviera. Two hundred spectators were present for this session conducted with 31 players, including 2 injured ones (Alexy Bosetti and Mahamane Traorรฉ).

On the agenda, workshops and small-sided games of 7 against 7. It was a first for the two new arrivals, Belgian Julien Vercauteren and Swede Nikals Hult, presented to the public last Friday in the center of Nice.

Starting this Tuesday, the Nice players will return to Charles-Ehrmann for training as well as physical tests. The professional group will go on a training camp starting Saturday at Divonne-les-Bains (Ain) until July 12th. The camp will conclude with a first friendly match against Girondins de Bordeaux.

Ligue 1 will resume on the weekend of August 8th, 9th, and 10th with the hosting of Toulouse FC.
