Fifteen days after the return to school for middle and high school students, Hassen, Amavi, and Honorat also made their return. The schedule included an autograph session at the club’s shop, which made many young supporters present dream.

There was anticipation before the arrival of the three players and smiles after receiving the signed card. That sums up the afternoon for the many supporters, young and old, present at the official OGC Nice shop. For the occasion, the club invited defender Jordan Amavi (20 years old), goalkeeper Mouez Hassen (19 years old), and forward Franck Honorat (18 years old). The goal was to please the young fans from Nice who do not have the chance to get so close to their favorite players.

“We didn’t expect such a turnout! Along with Jordan (Amavi), jokingly, we even thought about calling some friends (laughs), but our supporters showed up as usual,” confided Mouez Hassen, the starting goalkeeper of the Eaglets this season.

For nearly an hour, the three OGC Nice players signed cards produced by the club, as well as pencil cases, bags, caps… A great joy for the youngest supporters who left with stars in their eyes, like Théo: “Taking a photo with the Nice players, I will never forget this memory. They were super nice, I’ll display their card above my bed.”

For some players, the results of their summer homework paid off, as seen with Jordan Amavi and Mouez Hassen, who started the new season as first-team players. Even better, they fully participated in the first five matches played by the Eaglets in Ligue 1.

“We worked hard, so we are being rewarded, but the road is still long, and we must not let up,” explained the left-back, Jordan Amavi, in a very relaxed atmosphere.

This friendly moment was an opportunity for the Eaglets to offer advice to young fans who also dream of one day wearing the red and black jersey.

“You must not neglect school at first. On the field, you have to listen to the coaches and really take in their advice. Later on, who knows, they might be the ones motivating the new generation,” smiled Franck Honorat.
