The former French international is set to leave the Riviera club he joined two and a half years ago from Everton. He is expected to depart the Gym on a free transfer to play in an exotic league.
Since his arrival in the summer of 2020, Morgan Schneiderlin has played 56 matches in the red and black jersey without really managing to establish himself as a key player in the squad.
His first season with the Riviera club was the most successful (28 matches) without actually being a triumph. Last year, under the management of Christophe Galtier, he was relegated to the role of substitute. In this 2022/23 season, the former Manchester United midfielder has completely fallen off the radar and has not played a single minute.
Morgan Schneiderlin’s adventure in Nice will come to an end in the coming days. The 33-year-old player is expected to sign on a free transfer with the Western Sydney Wanderers, a team in the A-League (Australia’s top division).
