OGC Nice’s transfer window seemed to be over, but two departures have been announced. One on Monday late afternoon and another yesterday morning.
The news was announced Monday in the early evening, the young Alexis Trouillet, 20 years old, an attacking midfielder, is leaving the Gym on loan without a purchase option. The young player, who joined Nice in January 2020 from Rennes, is a major prospect for the club.
Having appeared 8 times since his arrival, he is moving to Ligue 2, to Auxerre, to play and gain experience.
With the recruitment of 2 other midfielders during this transfer window (Mario Lemina and Pablo Rosario), his playing time seemed compromised.
He is thus joining coach Jean-Marc Furlan and former Nice player Gauthier Lloris, Hugo’s brother.
Another departure was just made official yesterday at 11 am, it is Myziane Maolida.
As we announced on Monday, after 3 seasons in the Azurean capital, the 22-year-old player signs with Hertha Berlin until 2025. He will wear the number 11 left by Lukebakio who went to Wolfsburg.
The former Lyon player expressed his delight at signing in the Bundesliga in the statement released by the Berlin team:
“Hertha made a strong effort to find me, which impressed me. The discussions with the officials were also very pleasant, making the decision relatively easy for me. Now, I look forward to being on the field with my new colleagues and playing in front of our fans.”
The transfer fee was not disclosed by the two clubs, but it is estimated to be between 4 and 8 million euros.
