Absent for several weeks, two Nice defenders are making their return to Didier Digard’s squad.
This Sunday at 3 pm, the Gym will head to the Raymond Kopa stadium to play the 29th day of Ligue 1. For this away game on the field of the league’s bottom team, Didier Digard and his staff can count on the return from injury of two players: Antoine Mendy and Youssouf Ndayishimiye.
Injured in the ankle at the end of February, the young right-back Antoine Mendy has been absent for the Gym’s last 5 games. Impressive in maturity and already decisive twice (2 assists) in 6 appearances, he will step in for Jordan Lotomba, the only available right-back as Youcef Atal is injured.
Substituted due to injury during the return match against Sheriff Tiraspol, the Burundian had missed OGC Nice’s last game against FC Lorient. Versatile and solid as a rock, the player who scored his first goal against Nantes is available again.
Although both players are fit for the match, they are not expected to start as starters. Kick-off is tomorrow at 3 pm, and the match will be broadcast on Prime Video.
