This Tuesday, OGC Nice secured their third reinforcement of the transfer window. It is the Algerian full-back Youcef Atal.

An offensive-minded right-back, also capable of playing higher up the field, Youcef Atal was trained at the Jean-Marc Guillou academy before starting his professional career at the age of 19 with Paradou AC in the Algerian second division.

After 2 seasons and 48 matches with the Algiers club, which notably allowed him to become an international player (4 caps), the 1.76m player joined KV Kortrijk on loan in the summer of 2017. Delivering strong performances and being named man of the match five times, the native of Boghni convinced the Belgian club to exercise the purchase option attached to his loan.

OGC Nice reached an agreement with the Jupiler Pro League club for the transfer of the high-potential 22-year-old player. After passing his medical examination this Tuesday, he became Niceโ€™s third recruit of the summer, following Danilo Barbosa and Christophe Hรฉrelle.
