Christophe Galtier, in the sights of the Riviera club for several weeks now, is getting closer and closer to the Côte d’Azur.
An agreement of around €300k per month for a three-year contract is said to have been reached between the two parties. The Frenchman is indeed expected to arrive at OGC Nice within a few days. Some details still need to be worked out, such as the release fee between €2 and €5 million that LOSC should receive to let their coach go.
With the transfer window officially opening in a few days, the club is preparing to restructure its squad. To do so, several offensive players are being targeted, such as the now-former AS Monaco player Stevan Jovetic, who has been released by the rival club. Loïc Rémy is also in consideration for a possible return.
Yesterday the team announced that the 23-year-old Brazilian, Arthur Cabral, currently playing for FC Basel, was attracting the interest of the Eagles. An offer of €9 million has reportedly been made, but the Swiss club is expecting €12 million to let their striker go, who scored 18 goals in the league this season.
