On the cusp of turning 40, the Brazilian international will aim to push his teammates towards higher goals next season: “I dream that we succeed in making the 2023-24 season worthy of what the club and its supporters deserve. I thank everyone, and I will give everything to achieve our goals“, the player commented. The supporters will have the chance to celebrate this extension of the central defender this Saturday against the Rennais, who are still vying for a spot in the European cup for next season.

While Les Aiglons have finally given themselves some breathing room with a win (0-1) obtained on the pitch of Troyes last week, confirmation is needed at home against a team of a completely different caliber.
