On the occasion of the Lille OSC reception (kick-off this Sunday at 5 p.m.), a large clothing drive will be organized with the association ABI06.
This one-time collection will be added to the regular canned food drive that began earlier this month during the Nice-Amiens match (Saturday, November 3) in partnership with the Restos du Cลur. From 2 p.m. onwards, volunteers from these associations will be waiting at the foot of the stairs on the forecourt to collect your donations.
Charitable drives have now become a tradition among Gym supporters. For several seasons, as part of the “Gym Solidaire” program integrated into the Club’s community outreach policy, it has offered its supporters the opportunity to mobilize for the less fortunate, through collections of clothing, toys, or food, several times a year.
Organized alongside the matches played at Allianz Riviera by the Aiglons, these collections consistently demonstrate the generosity of the red and black community, who participate massively in these solidarity operations.
All the collected clothing will then be sorted by the ABI06 association. Those in very good condition will be sold at preferential rates in the association’s three solidarity and responsible shops (Boulevard Gorbella, Avenue Auguste Gal and rue Spitalieri). The others will be donated to other social and solidarity economy associations, which will redistribute or recycle them.
