An augmented reality app to discover authentic places and landscapes far from traditional circuits.
Created by the Nice Côte d’Azur Chamber of Commerce and Industry in partnership with the Cannes Pays de Lérins Agglomeration Community, the “Oh! My Côte d’Azur” app offers a new tourist experience on the Côte d’Azur.
The augmented reality app was developed with the aim of contributing to the territory’s appeal by showcasing the richness of its natural, cultural, and gastronomic heritage with an experience of authenticity alongside eco-responsible professionals.
It allows for discovering our territories differently, through three thematic prisms: air, land, and sea.
Using “Oh! My Côte d’Azur” allows you to organize your visits in three steps:
1: Scan the QR Code (found in brochures distributed in the Tourist Offices of the Alpes-Maritimes) to download the app.
2: Prepare your itinerary with the app that scans the map from the brochure using augmented reality to present 18 landscape points of interest in the territories of the Cannes Pays de Lérins Agglomeration Community and the Antibes Sophia-Antipolis Agglomeration Community. The establishments certified as “Quality Tourism”, “Master Restaurateur”, or labeled as “Bistrot de Pays”, “Green Key”, or “European Ecolabel” are listed.
3: Follow the guide and upon arrival at your destination, tourists simply need to activate an audio guide via the app to obtain further information about the visited location.
