Olivier Bettati confirmed on the regional daily’s website his candidacy for the position of mayor of Nice, thus ending a period of suspense that had lasted for several weeks.
He will lead a list “composed of women and men, from the public or private sphere, beyond national partisan divides.”
The candidate organized a press conference this morning in Old Nice. It will be interesting to see if his statements provide anything additional to what has already been read elsewhere.
One thing is certain, however, his management of media relations could deserve more attention.
