The Transgender Day of Remembrance (TDoR) is held internationally on November 20th. It commemorates the memory of those who have been murdered or pushed to death due to transphobia, which is the denial of existence and hatred towards transgender individuals.
The Transgender Association of the Côte d’Azur (ATCA+) and the LGBT Center Côte d’Azur are organizing a gathering in Nice. Gathering and remembrance will take place on Wednesday, November 20, 2019, at 6:30 PM, at Place Garibaldi.
The gathering will be followed by a film screening organized by the Polychromes association at the Mercury Cinema: “Océan,” by and featuring Océan (single price: 5 euros).
