The 2nd edition of the French Riviera Open will be held until next Saturday on the courts of the prestigious Mouratoglou Tennis Academy.
The 3 organizers Michaรซl Jรฉrรฉmiasz, Patrick Mouratoglou, and Cรฉdric Mocellin have clearly stated their ambition to position their event among the largest Paralympic sports events.
The best wheelchair tennis players on the planet will reunite for the second consecutive year on the courts of the Mouratoglou Academy in Sophia-Antipolis all week. The goal: to change perceptions.
British player Gordon Reid, world number 1 and Paralympic champion, American David Wagner, world number 1 and multi-Paralympic medalist in the quad category, which includes players with functional impairments in the upper and lower limbs, as well as French number 1 Charlotte Famin, will be part of the event. In total, 48 players will be divided into 6 draws.
The final, played on Saturday at noon, will be broadcast live on Canal + Dรฉcalรฉ.
