During the summer, the municipality provides two accessible beaches free of charge, allowing people with disabilities to enjoy the pleasures of the sea and swim safely.

The Carras Beach will be open from today until July 13 and from August 16 to September 11 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., and from 07/14 to 08/15 from 10:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.

On these two accessible beaches, people have access to:

– Signage that is adapted;
– A nearby first-aid station with access for people with disabilities;
– Tailored facilities, including reserved parking spaces for people with reduced mobility near the seaside installations, showers, restrooms, and umbrellas;
– A pathway for accessing the sea;
– Amphibious chairs allowing people with disabilities to swim;
– 3 to 4 beach staff per site, seasonal employees hired by the city to welcome and assist people with disabilities in swimming (transfer, entry into the water, showering, etc.).

These beach staff welcome people with disabilities (regardless of age) on these two equipped sites 7 days a week (including public holidays). The last entry into the water is permitted fifteen minutes before closing.
