Four young civic service volunteers at Unis-Cité have committed to greater intergenerational solidarity!
Since October 14, 2014, Cristina, Marital, Jean Pierre, and Sofiane, four young civic service volunteers at Unis-Cité in Nice, have been engaged in the “Les Intergénéreux” program of Unis-Cité. They work in pairs every Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, at the homes of 5 elderly individuals and with 12 residents of the EHPAD Les Lucioles and the ADOMA residence.
Their mission? To foster greater solidarity between generations, reduce the isolation of individuals, and contribute to preserving the autonomy and maintaining the independence of people living at home.
The “Les Intergénéreux” program is a national-scale civic service mission implemented by the Unis-Cité association in 22 cities.
