On Thursday, February 21, at the Urban Planning and Architecture Forum, the opening of the AJAP 2018 exhibition took place. It was held in the presence of Christian Tordo, Deputy Mayor of Nice responsible for Economy, Industry, Digital, Land, and Urban Planning, as well as Robert Roux, Municipal Councillor responsible for Cinema, Public Arts, the Contemporary Culture Hub “Le 109,” Deputy for Museums, and Current Musics.
Three of the winning teams were represented: Combas from Nice, Orma architettura for Corte, and Atelier Rรฉgis Roudil architects for Aix-en-Provence.
The AJAP is a biennial competition organized by the Ministry of Culture. It aims to reward young architects and landscape designers under the age of 35 who have completed a project or participated in a competition in France. An exhibition is then created to showcase the work of around twenty winners, consisting of fifteen teams of architects and five teams of landscape designers.
This year, a team from Nice is among the winners for the national award for young creation.
