At the beginning of this new season, it is our intellectual duty to give the floor to the captain of the TNN, Daniel Benoin.
On the poster for this 2012-2013 season, we glimpse fragments of the ten seasons that have passed since I took over the direction of the TNN. Ten seasons that have seen more than a million spectators pass through our doors, ten seasons during which we created more than seventy shows and hosted over six hundred!
This can sometimes be dizzying, but it also explains why we have become the leading theater for creation outside of Paris. Like a layer over the bits of a past that delights us, there is the poster for this eleventh season, the beginning of a new decade.
The program for this new season is punctuated by eight productions – admittedly with smaller budgets than usual – which testify to the vitality of the TNN’s artistic team and the companies that surround us.
