On Sunday, June 29, the charitable event “1 toy = 1 lunch” will take place in the gardens of Cimiez.
After taking over the Galeries Lafayette in Nice Cap 3000 for Father’s Day, “Harleys du Cลur” will return on June 29, taking over the gardens of Cimiez for the charitable event “1 toy = 1 lunch.”
The aim of this operation is to exchange a new toy and/or new clothes for a meal tray prepared by “Toques Brulรฉes.” Chefs Gilles Ballestra, David Faure, and their friends will concoct a lunch, in front of the audience, which includes a cuttlefish salad, a Niรงoise-style hot dog, and a revamped lemon tart.
All items collected during this event will then be donated to the children of lโArchet hospital.
In addition to the picnic, various activities will be offered to the participants. From 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., there will be games for children, face painting, drawing, and crepe stands, as well as dance demonstrations and line dancing lessons, and entertainment with a clown magician. It will also be possible to take a motorbike ride and have photos taken on the iconic Harleys; all in a friendly and warm atmosphere.
Claude Abejan, founding president of “Harleys du Cลur,” and his biker friends, who have been operating throughout the Riviera for 25 years now, are once again appealing to the solidarity and generosity of the Cรดte d’Azur residents to try and improve the daily lives of hospitalized children.
