The city of Nice is launching a new initiative through a press release.
“After the attack that took place in Nice on July 14th, it is more important than ever to show unity in the face of barbarity. To overcome obscurantism, let us remember what fuels our joy of living each moment. Nice is still as beautiful, as radiant, and remains a haven of peace for those who wish to experience the gentle lifestyle of the French Riviera,” states the released text.
The goal? “What could be stronger than creating a chain of solidarity to unite and spread positive energies?” is the answer.
How to proceed: “To participate, we invite you to post a video on social media featuring yourself, accompanied by the #ILoveNice in your message, in which you say what Nice represents or symbolizes for you, what you love about this city… This way, you will show the world that Nice remains Nice, and that unity is our strength.”
Will it serve any purpose? It’s not important; letting it out feels good in any case.
