Lycรฉe dโEstienne dโOrves, 13 avenue Honorรฉ dโEstienne dโOrves, in Nice, Wednesday, March 14 from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM
This will be an opportunity to observe the work done by students in the excellence boarding school to learn about discrimination through theatrical play, in connection with law doctoral students and the project’s reference teacher.
The students receive three legal information sessions provided by the students to help them identify what constitutes discrimination and to learn about the legal means to defend themselves against it. To internalize this legal knowledge, the students create a skit illustrating possible discrimination scenarios and the responses to them.
At the end of the school year, the different classes involved in the project present the work accomplished to all the others, and prizes are awarded to the most remarkable achievements.
โDroit au cลurโ is a prevention and anti-discrimination operation targeting high school students and 9th graders.
This year, it involves a team of law doctoral students from the University of Nice, the Nice academy, as well as HALDE (High Authority for the Fight against Discrimination and for Equality) and the CDAD (Departmental Center for Access to Law) of the Alpes-Maritimes.
