Every year, initiated by the UN, November 25 has become an essential event bringing together professionals, institutions, associations, and citizens in rejecting violence against women.
This international day, more relevant than ever, allows us to put words to woes, give a voice to those who remain silent, and raise public awareness on a subject still too often considered taboo.
The International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women is also known as Orange Day.
Since 2014, the UN has chosen orange as the color symbolizing hope for a better future for women and girls.
At the Promenade du Paillon, by the water mirror, at 5:30 PM, a gathering will be organized to say stop to violence. Dress code: Orange.
