Mรฉtรฉo France has just issued an ORANGE alert for “snow-ice” in the Alpes-Maritimes department.
The phenomenon is expected to start at 10 a.m. and should end on Thursday at noon.
Snowfall could result in irregular accumulations ranging from temporary whitening of roads along the coast, to 5 to 10 cm in the nearby interior, and up to 15 to 20 cm in the mountain areas.
The Prefecture advises limiting travel and exercising extreme caution.
