This would be the last exhibition outside the gallery. Christian Depardieu is expected to organize the next opening in a brand-new gallery located not far from the Golden Square of the city of Nice.
Since 2004, the gallery owner has organized seventy exhibitions, and the mythical places of boulevard Risso, which have since become a restaurant, are said to retain, as it’s said that stones have memory, memories of concerts and exhibitions, some of which have had international resonance, such as those of the Burquas.
For Christmas and the holiday season, Christian Depardieu offers us gifts that connoisseurs will appreciate, with the presence of artists who have left their mark on the history of the former gallery.
There are 17 of them, and in this article, it is impossible to mention them all. We will mention Emilie Gafner and her photographed photographs; she explains the process to us. Starting from daylight for the first shot, she projects it at night in the city and photographs it: “Mix the human face with the scenery.”
Then there is Bernard Pourrière who invites us to an imaginary journey through time and space. The photo, the mobiles, the cut-outs, Marcel Alocco, Jean Pierre Giovanelli, or even Alain Arias Misson, who puts the poet in a box, among others, grace this eclectic exhibition where genres and media mix.
You can even ‘visit’ the Château de Carros with Max Charvolen. Hanne Elfe, Elli Chrysidou, or even Daniel Rothbart and his compositions, and the excuses of Louis Schiavo are a few chapters — there are seventeen — of this exhibition, which will continue until January 31, 2013.
You will not regret your visit, and perhaps you will find the gift to offer, a work of art, that of an artist.
