From April 29 to May 1, 2022, the Alpes-Maritimes department will, for the first time, offer a nature sports event, completely free, across the entire Maralpin territory: the Outdoor Festival 06.
The festival includes an extensive program that will suit everyone, regardless of their age and level of practice (beginner, amateur, experienced…). Over three days, the schedule includes outdoor activities on land, at sea, or in the air, and more than 60 activities are offered in 300 different formats.
During these three days, activities based on experience rather than performance will be offered, such as a sunset kayak excursion or a two-day cross-border ski-mountaineering journey.
The festival will also feature cultural events dedicated to the department’s natural sports heritage, competitions with top athletes (Guillaume Nery, Loïc Bruni, Alice Modolo), and a fair with 50 equipment exhibitors, the “Outdoor camp.”
Under the aegis of sustainable development, the festival is labeled eco-responsible and is part of the department’s “green deal” policy.
