The city of Nice hosted the 15th edition of the Printemps des Mômes festival at the Jardin Albert 1er, throughout the school holidays.
The objective is to promote the cultural and artistic education of young people through live art performances. Throughout the holidays, the city of Nice offered interactive activities spread across the entire city. Through this event, the municipality aims to introduce young people to the performing arts, sharpen their critical thinking, and contribute to their cultural and artistic education outside of the school environment.
To conclude this 15th edition of the Printemps des Mômes, a big celebration was organized at the Music Kiosk in a playful and enchanting village. Children were able to explore several cultural stands throughout the day, such as:
- Circus, juggling, acrobatics, and balance workshops by the Compagnie Haut Perché
- Creating a personalized clay pebble by the association Les Galets de Nice
- Magic demonstration and initiation by magician Xavier Châtel
- Craft workshops making paper flowers, “kiss boxes” … by the association Blouses Roses
- Puppet workshops “discovering hand, string puppets…” by the Compagnie Menestrel
- “Discovering India” by Lez’arts Indians.
Ventriloquist Ciboulette and Oscar kept the afternoon lively by engaging children with their little car. Additionally, children were invited to participate in a special 1980s dance class by Monique and Natacha. To end on a high note, children attended a concert by the Mediterranean Music Center themed on the most beautiful film music at the heart of the Music Kiosk.
