Marion Maréchal-Le Pen launched an attack on Family Planning and associations that combat gender-related discrimination, sexism, and sexual orientation.
For Sophie Camard and Jean-Marc Coppola, the two co-leaders: “In a region she would preside over, there would no longer be any subsidies for these associations. In October 2012, Marion Maréchal-Le Pen had already demanded the end of abortion reimbursement. This regressive ideology reminds us once again that the sole project of the National Front is to attack culture, education, women’s rights, and the rights of discriminated individuals.”
On these subjects, the Cooperative Region proposes to allocate more resources for culture, education, and youth.
And more particularly, to provide strengthened support to family planning centers and to establish a Council for Equal Rights, to combat all forms of racism and discrimination, involving feminist and LGBT associations.
