Departing from Nice on July 8th, the food truck La Pitchounett’ is back after a two-month gourmet journey in the hinterland of the French Riviera. At the wheel and in the kitchen were Steeve Demana, a 2019 Koh Lanta finalist, and his partner Virginie, whose goal was to promote Nice’s culinary heritage at each stage of their journey.
From “Guillaumes to Eze, passing through Utelle, La Bollène Vésubie, Falicon, Isola…” This gourmet tour of the Metropolis, supported by the City of Nice, was also intended to be a charitable event, as a portion of the proceeds (amounting to 2,300 euros) will be donated to the association Les Week-ends solidaires, which is committed to helping the victims of Storm Alex.
From noon until 3 PM, the people of Nice can enjoy the presence of La Pitchounett’ at Jardin Albert 1st, turning their lunch break into a true Niçoise merenda. Pans-bagnats, pissaladières, petits farcis… To be enjoyed without moderation!
