Engaged in an active policy of sustainable development, the Maison de l’Environnement of the City of Nice has chosen to schedule an exhibition entitled “Panorama of Sustainable Development on Reunion Island,” which will be inaugurated on Thursday, June 7, 2012, at 3 PM.

Straying from the beaten path, photographer Jean-Christophe Tardivon’s exhibition invites the public to discover the principles of sustainable development on this island. Between tradition and modernity, tourism and biodiversity, the men and women living on this contrasting island have long understood the importance of integrated space management. From agriculture to energy, including consumption patterns, buildings, and culture… The exhibition tackles around ten themes and presents a hundred photographs.

Photographer Jean-Christophe Tardivon, specialized in sustainable development themes, is a member of the Union of Professional Photographers. He creates exhibitions on environmental issues or festivals. His images are published in national magazines and daily press.
