Santiago Buitrago of the Bahrain Victorious team claimed victory on the fourth day of this Paris-Nice.

For the fourth stage of this Paris-Nice 2024, the riders set off from Châlon-sur-Saône for a 183-kilometer stage heading towards Mont Brouilly. Unlike the second day, the riders faced the first mountain stage.

For most of the race, the peloton was split in two. A significant portion of the race was enlivened by the duel between Christian Scaroni and Mathieu Burgaudeau for the polka dot jersey. It was the Frenchman who managed to keep his jersey.

In the last ten kilometers, the peloton broke into six groups. Ultimately, it was the Colombian Santiago Buitrago (Bahrain Victorious) who emerged victorious in this fourth stage of the Paris-Nice, with a narrow 30-second lead. The combativity prize was awarded to Christian Scaroni. His breakaway companion until the final kilometers of the ascent, Luke Plapp (Team Jayco AlUla) took the yellow jersey with a 13-second lead over the Colombian.
