The third stage of Paris-Nice was a team time trial. An exercise in which UAE Team Emirates excelled.
For the third stage of this Paris-Nice, the riders set off this Tuesday afternoon from Auxerre for a crucial event: a team time trial. The time is taken on the first rider of the team to cross the finish line.
Around 4 PM, rain made an appearance in the race, depriving the last teams that started of the wind. In the end, it was the UAE Team Emirates team that won the time trial with a time of 31’23”. They were closely followed by the Team Jayco ALULA, just 15 small seconds behind. Laurence Pythie (Groupama FDJ) hands over his yellow jersey to the American Brandon McNulty (UAE Team Emirates).
