PArtAges, Art and Quality of Life at the Cimiez Hospital in Nice

Latest News

PArtAges aims to:

– Participate in making the hospital environment more humane by improving the reception, environment of the elderly, their families, acquaintances, and the working conditions of the staff.

– Open the facility to the outside so that it becomes a place of life.

– Develop social connections by encouraging solidarity between generations.

– Introduce art in geriatrics as a supplementary resource to hospital practices.

To achieve this, an action program has been put in place:

– Offer cultural, artistic, and festive activities.

– Create spaces for conviviality that promote social bonds and artistic expression.

– Implement projects for arranging and decorating living spaces.

These cultural, fun, or festive activities connected with the outside world brighten the daily lives of the elderly. From seasonal celebrations to shows, from painting or mosaic workshops to exhibitions, from bocce games to outings: a variety of activities. And what to say about the emotionally rich intergenerational meetings.

Communicate, exchange, open up: three key verbs for this hospital association. Can one not continue to discover, enrich themselves, and marvel in gerontology?
