The abstention rate was very high, around 80%, an unprecedented level in the two cantons of Grasse and Cagnes-sur-Mer. Meanwhile, in St-Martin de Vésubie, the Saint-Martinois turned out in large numbers despite the snow and cold, achieving a record participation rate of 70.2%.
