The Regional Olympic and Sports Committee of the Côte d’Azur and the French Agency for Multisports Refereeing are signing a partnership agreement this Saturday, July 7th at 12:15 PM at the ESATITUDE Hotel in Nice. This agreement aims to strengthen and enhance the existing ties between two inseparable worlds: Refereeing and Sports.
This is the adaptation of the national agreement to our Azorean territory.
In this highly sporty summer of 2012, featuring the UEFA European Football Championship, the European Athletics Championships, and soon the London Olympic Games, referees are constantly at the heart of sports!
Through this alliance, the CROS Côte d’Azur and the AFCAM aim, with joint actions, to combat incivility and violence in sports through workshops, seminars/conferences, and training sessions.
This event will be sponsored by Mr. Gilles Vessière and Ms. Chantal Julien, two prominent international referees from the Côte d’Azur.
