In order to coordinate and optimize their action, the Alpes-Maritimes gendarmerie group and the Mercantour National Park signed a partnership agreement yesterday, under the presidency of Ms. Gwenaëlle Chapuis, Deputy Prefect of Nice-Mountain.
The national gendarmerie and the Mercantour National Park are involved in a variety of missions, ranging from rescue operations to judicial police missions, including monitoring the terrains and tourist areas.
In this context, this partnership agreement aims to develop joint actions between the two signatory parties to ensure coordinated prevention, information exchange, and the conduct of surveillance and enforcement operations.
