Starting January 1, 2015, any premises open to the public will be subject to the accessibility standards of the 2005 law. According to the principle “access to everything for everyone,” all public access buildings (PABs) are affected by this regulation. They must be accessible to people with disabilities (motor, auditory, visual, or mental) and to people with reduced mobility (elderly people, people with strollers, etc.).

To support and raise awareness among merchants on the necessary adjustments to their establishments, the CCI Nice Côte d’Azur, alongside the Association of Paralyzed People of France, is organizing a half-day information session.

On this occasion, a partnership agreement will be signed regarding the support of local merchants in the Alpes-Maritimes in terms of accessibility.
