To celebrate the release of his second album “ROUGE NUIT,” on the NDH Music label, available for download on all platforms since September 2010, PASCAL MONO will perform in concert in Nice.
He has invited the DUM DUM BOYS to share the stage for a memorable rock evening at the Lino Ventura Theater.

On stage and on the road since 1997, as soon as he finished his literary studies, MONO began performing opening acts and having unforgettable encounters: Massive Attack on the European tour of “Mezzanine,” Eagle Eye Cherry, Bono (U2), Jacno, Mathieu Chédid, Jean Fauque (writer for Alain Bashung, among others)….
In 1999, he joined the Bordeaux collective Spina. They created “Togué” (The Thorn, in Japanese), an electro ballet with Butoh choreographer Carlotta Ikeda. The show toured the world until 2003: “A storm of beauty” – Libération.
In 2005, TF1 talent scouts discovered him in a bar where he was singing in Nice and offered him a deal with the devil: Star Ac’. He became “the interstellar anomaly amidst the kleenex teens” – Technik’art.
In 2006, he signed with Universal and released “Intact,” his first album. “An instantly recognizable sound. Unique” – Patrick Eudeline – Rock’n’Folk.
For his second album, Mono threw himself entirely into self-production. “Rouge Nuit” was released in September 2010: Stephan Blaëss was at the helm (Brian Eno, Fela Kuti). Mono marked his maturation alongside a contract with No Direction Home (NDH), a label created by Dominique Misslin (Mano Negra, NTM.). “Rouge Nuit” offers eleven uncompromising tracks: simmering, volcanic, mature, introspective.

They’re back! Unknown to the general public but appreciated by connoisseurs, the DDB continue a musical journey that began in the indie circuit since the mid-80s. In their current configuration (K.Badi “Soulsheik” Vocals / O.Nemejanski “Bratch” Guitar / D.Balducci “Memphis mao” Guitar / E.Fostinelli “Guy Pop” Bass / Joey D’Oriano Drums), the DumDumBoys are preparing the release of a new album featuring 11 unpublished tracks for early 2011.
As the late André Malraux said: “The 21st century will be black, round, spinning at 45 RPM with a hole in the middle or it will not be.” In this great debate shaking the music business, refusing to choose between the plague (the CD), the cholera (the mp3), and the last rites (downloading), the Dum Dum Boys will opt for vinyl in 2011!!
Indestructible… unsinkable… intractable… incorruptible… inflexible… even immutable, they decided from the start to adopt the only possible attitude for a rock band: to completely ignore reality. They have always evolved in their own parallel world, a world where one doesn’t have to choose between noise and melody, between roots and modernism, a world where Garage is not synonymous with Grévin Museum and Rock’n’Roll is not reactionary Revival, where one can be possessed by faith without being a Guardian of the Temple, integral without being fundamentalist.
