The tournament, held under the High Patronage of H.S.H. Prince Albert II of Monaco, and now the 4th stage of the “Centennial Maserati Polo Tour” organized by Maserati, in collaboration with La Martina, concluded with the TWIGA-CIPRIANI team, representing Ireland, winning the 1st prize.

The events were highly appreciated by the many spectators who attended the exciting matches of this elite sport.

In total, nearly 500 people gathered on Sunday alone to admire the riders: three for each team, who fought for victory…

In terms of sports results, EFG Bank (USA) and Maserati (Switzerland) secured the 4th and 3rd places respectively after more than an hour of fast-paced gameplay full of strategy and horse maneuvers in the competition (12 – 11).

The Twiga-Cipriani (Ireland) and Cartier Monaco teams returned to the field to compete in the finals with very balanced exchanges at the start, but the superiority of the Twiga team made the difference, easily winning the 1st prize after less than an hour of plays (10 – 4).

The award ceremony, with Cartier trophies for the teams and Argentinian Luca Labat, who was named the best player, was warmly applauded.

“A big thank you,” Francesco Mitrano said at the end of the evening, “goes to all the sponsors, partners, SBM, DTC, the teams, and everyone who supported me in this great effort to organize the second edition of the Monegasque Polo tournament. Without them and the passion I try to convey for this noble and spectacular sport, the event could not have taken place.”
