The double murder of Hélène Pastor and her driver concluded as anticipated: It was Wojciech Janowski, Hélène’s daughter’s partner, Sylvia’s, who was the instigator, Pascal Dauriac the organizer, along with three intermediaries and the two executors, who bear the responsibility.
The confessions of some of the accused and the elements of the investigation confirm and prove this. Even if, to fully understand what happened and to put it in a logical framework, one might need to resort to the theories of the good Professor Sigmund Freud.
If, in the end, two people were still killed, this case should be used in university criminal law courses as one of the most morbid examples.
In fact, if the Public Prosecutor of Marseille, Brice Robin, in charge of the case, made a point of congratulating the police investigators from Marseille and Nice for their “maximum efficiency in the success of this investigation,” there is every reason to believe that the magistrate must have rarely encountered, in his career, criminals so inexperienced and unqualified.

Entrusting the organization to a sports coach totally unfamiliar with this type of activity suggests an association of fools rather than criminals.
And, naturally, incompetence manifests itself again through the search for other intermediaries, who are also of low level, leading to the two executors, Sunday pistoleros who evidently have no experience in this kind of operation, to the point of nearly failing (the two victims survived the attack when, in such cases, they should have been killed on the spot).
Not to mention the aftermath, like returning to Marseille from Nice by taxi: One is certain not to see that even in a series c TV movie on a cable channel. A true operetta with puppets as protagonists.
Unfortunately, beyond the two deceased, the list of “victims” extends further, as one cannot help but think of Sylvia Pastor, Wojciech Janowski’s partner, and their teenage daughter.
