Following the decision of 1,500 doctors and department heads from public hospitals to submit their administrative resignations, the candidate for the mayor of Nice states: “I have spoken publicly on several occasions about this issue, particularly concerning the situation in emergency departments, budgetary constraints, and the deteriorating working conditions of the entire medical staff. When you see that even in Nice, where the CHU medical staff is not considered ‘revolutionary,’ the CME representatives declare their solidarity with this movement, it gives a better sense of the distress existing within the public hospital system. My stance remains the same. Public health is a priority battle.”
