On November 15, 2024, Patrick Amoussou-Adéblé was appointed Secretary General of the Prefecture of Alpes-Maritimes and Deputy Prefect of Nice. This senior official is beginning a three-year term.

Patrick Amoussou-Adéblé has been a civil administrator since 2003. He graduated from the École nationale d’administration (ENA), class of 2001-2003. His career began as Deputy Prefect and Chief of Staff to the Prefect of Landes in 2003.

From 2005 to 2007, he was Deputy Prefect in Chinon. In 2009, he joined the General Directorate for Local Authorities (DGCL). During this tenure, he worked notably on local finance and economic action.

He became Secretary General for Regional Affairs (SGAR) in 2012. Subsequently, he served in Basse-Normandie, then in Nouvelle-Aquitaine starting in 2018. He also represented the State in projects like Bordeaux-Euratlantique.

As Deputy Prefect of Nice, Patrick Amoussou-Adéblé (57 years old) takes charge of a key department. The Alpes-Maritimes face challenges regarding security, economy, and natural risk management.
