The second issue is the problem with Square Jean Pierre and Trachel Street. Liquidating the Square to build a garden and demolishing the park to construct buildings: “The Town Hall has realized it was making a mistake.” Last point on the Cernuschi police station: “We want to improve the quality of life in the neighborhood,” and finally desire a true cultural policy. As a General Councilor, he reiterates his objectives. The issue of specialized prevention at the departmental level, and solving disability problems: “The General Councilor must address all the department’s issues and should not just limit themselves to their own patch.” He also holds a place on the board of the Vernier College: “A true social buffer in the neighborhood.”
“We can advance these issues and not just be a figurehead. It is because you have no chance that you should seize it.” The Green Corridor? “It’s our idea from 5-6 years ago.” The ideas are clear: “Provide a new, different political offer.”
Two men were honored at the end of the afternoon. Fabien Castejon and Nicolas Castenez received a diploma and the bronze medal from the Ministry of Sports and Youth. The first for his engagement in the associative and sports sector, the other for his fight against delinquency in partnership with the SPJ (Sport Prevention Youth).
