The latest statements from the mayor regarding the space freed up by moving the Ray stadium bring nothing new. A real estate project is planned on the Nice hill, which is not pleasing to the residents of the affected neighborhoods, according to the general councilor of Alpes-Maritimes.
For three years, the residents have been requesting that the neighborhood not be overdeveloped and have repeatedly expressed their desire to finally see green spaces and local sports facilities emerge in Nice Nord.
The Town Hall, which made the land fully buildable when defining and voting on the Local Urban Plan (PLU), pretends not to hear this clear message and evidently has a real estate project in the works.
A project they will, of course, only reveal after the municipal elections…
