Patrick Mottard signing books at Librairie Masséna

Latest News

This Saturday, May 27th, from 5 PM to 7 PM at the Masséna bookstore, Patrick Mottard will be signing his work “Sur un air de cithare” (published by Les Enfants du Paradis).

In this new play, Patrick Mottard takes us on a journey through history and love stories to the rhythm of music that resonates within each of us, like the musical theme from “The Third Man,” “The Umbrellas of Cherbourg,” “Wings of Desire,” or “Talk to Her.”

Born from the imagination of Resnais, Fellini, Wenders, and Almodovar, they meet by chance from Paris to Krakow, from Berlin to Mostar, moments to love or to tear apart, telling us half a century of European history.

– Born in Mâcon in 1951, Patrick Mottard grew up in Nice in the Pasteur neighborhood. He teaches public law at the University of Nice Sophia-Antipolis. He is the author of works such as “Fragments de Nice,” “Cinq de coeur,” “Baie des songes,” as well as the plays “Place Maurice-Thorez” and “Le Christ de Rauba Capeu.”
