She had been waiting for three years to be able to do it. Last summer, Denisa took the step after much thought, after weighing the pros and cons: she got an eyebrow piercing. Now at the age of 16, the teenager openly shares her story with Nice Premiere.
“It all started on the street. I was 12 years old and I fell in love with that look. Since then, I tried persistently to convince my mother. But to no avail. Well, almost…” the young girl from Nice does not hide. If the eyebrow piercing was categorically excluded at first, it was different for ear piercings. This is how Denisa was able to accumulate a collection of six piercings over her adolescence. Three on each ear. A sure value of aesthetics according to her. As for her eyebrow piercing, the young girl from Nice has a fond memory: “The day I entered the shop was one of the happiest days of my life. I wasn’t even afraid of the needle. Nor of catching a disease, because it was my uncle who took me to a friend of his. That reassured me. I was even quite excited about the moment I was living through. I knew that a few minutes later I would finally have what I wanted.”
And if this step was important, the high school student does not intend to stop there by any means. Quite the opposite. Next challenge: convince her mother to allow a cartilage piercing. Denisa has even planned it all in advance: “If my mother doesn’t give me permission, I’ll wait until I’m of age.
