A young photographer from Berlin, studying at the University of Nice, wants to show us Nice through his eyes and presents his photo exhibition, “Nice from a Stranger’s Point of View,” which will be held starting this Thursday, March 8th (Opening at 6:30 PM) at the Jean-Mรฉdecin university residence.
Aria Wojciechowski is a 25-year-old Berliner. He is of Polish and Iranian descent. He discovered photography for his own interest at the age of 19.
The photographer started his tri-national Master in Media, Communication, and Culture at the University of Nice Sophia Antipolis last autumn. It has now been five months since he became interested in the daily life in Nice through his camera. During his work, he put a lot of emphasis on subjectivity.
The young photographer’s exhibition has a very universal dimension. Indeed, he wishes to show both French students and students of all nationalities an external perspective on the city of Nice. By exhibiting the photos in such a venue, he aims to support university residences by enabling them to also become places for cultural events
