In the presence of Anne Barrère, Secretary General of the Fondation Hôpitaux de Paris-Hôpitaux de France representing Mrs. Bernadette Chirac, President, and Danuta Pieter, General Delegate, students from the primary schools of Nice, OGC Nice, CHU staff, and local associations from Nice will participate this Saturday in a great day of solidarity and celebration.
This will be an opportunity for everyone to bring their piggy bank or make a donation.
Several thousand of these piggy banks, inspired by the universe of the illustrator Catel, have been distributed in the municipalities of the Nice Côte d’Azur Metropolis. For your information, 1 kilo of small coins is equivalent to approximately €11.
The final weight will be announced by Mr. Patrick Garcia from the Bank of France at the end of the event, around 5:30 PM.
The coin collection train of this charitable and popular event made a stop in Nice last January 19, in the presence of Didier Deschamps, the sponsor of the 2019 edition.
