This Saturday, October 4th, the volunteers of the Les Blouses Roses association will be present at the entrance of the Carrefour Nice Lingostière store.
The brand is hosting them for the 4th consecutive year in 65 stores across France. The association aims to entertain children in hospitals. Every week, more than 4,000 volunteers conduct fun, creative, and artistic activities throughout France.
Volunteers will be present around a stand to showcase the achievements of the Les Blouses Roses association, recruit new volunteers, and sell products to raise funds. The association also collects donations of materials that can be used during their activities: toys, books, DVDs, stationery, etc.
Patrick Mal, the director of the Nice Lingostière store, is pleased to participate in the support operation launched in 65 Carrefour stores: “In 2013, thanks to the partnership with Carrefour, more than €22,000 were raised for Les Blouses Roses, not to mention materials such as toys or stationery useful for the network’s 80 committees’ activities in France!”
Les Blouses Roses are celebrating their 70th anniversary this year.
Founded in 1944, the association consists of 4,500 volunteers spread across 80 committees, operating in 560 hospitals and nursing homes in 270 towns.
In 2013, 700,000 patients benefited from its half-day activities.
