Last night, the amphitheater of the Maison des Associations was almost too small to accommodate the numerous associations, the University of Nice Sophia Antipolis, and the prestigious schools from Nice that had responded to the call made by the municipal sports, associations, and student portals. The agenda for this meeting was the upcoming Francophonie Games, which will take place from September 6 to 15, 2013, in Nice.
The session was opened by Muriel Marland Militello, Deputy for Culture, and Agnès Rampal, Deputy for Higher Education, followed by a presentation of the Francophonie Games by its General Director, Bernard Maccario, and Franck Viano presented the volunteer recruitment system and the “Faites vos Jeux!” operation, which will enable association leaders to communicate very easily with their members, licensees, and contacts.
A communication kit and visibility
To help them communicate, the City of Nice will provide a communication kit which includes: A poster and an HD logo of the event, the official video clip of the Games, a Facebook banner to insert on your pages, and a newsletter ready to be sent to contacts. Of course, social networks have not been forgotten, and there will also be one, and soon several, Facebook banners as well as web banners integrable into a website. For less conventional ad sizes, it will be possible to request them by email from the Organizing Committee to Anne-Marie Randria.
As the girls of Cavigal Basket did, who sported the colors of the Francophonie Games during the Final Four held on the floor of the Leyrit hall, this past weekend in Nice, associations, the University, and the prestigious schools of Nice have been invited to wear the colors of Francophonie during their upcoming spring and summer events. Sporting competitions, association events, year-end student parties… The Organizing Committee offers numerous communication tools that it will provide to project leaders (posters, silicone bracelets, participation bulletins, winflag, kakemonos…).
While the official kickoff of the Francophonie Games will be given in 115 days, a first test started last night near the statue of a certain Giuseppe Garibaldi, who was looking for exactly the same number of participants for what will be for him a true expedition…
The next information meeting on the Francophonie Games and the volunteer recruitment operation will take place this Thursday, May 16, from 6 to 8 pm in the same amphitheater of the Maison des Associations Garibaldi.
