On Monday, public transportation will be free, affecting the entire Lignes dโ€™Azur network. Additionally, on-street parking will not be monitored in Nice. These measures aim to reduce car usage.

Indeed, the Mayor of Nice and President of the Nice Cรดte dโ€™Azur Metropolis, Christian Estrosi, calls for collective responsibility. He also emphasizes the importance of limiting non-essential travel as much as possible.

“We urge, to act at our level, residents and visitors to minimize their travel as much as possible and favor public transportation and carpooling if there are no other solutions,” he explains in a statement.
